i find that if I get into the same habit of smoking, like into a routine, it starts to get me depressed. if i mix it up and smoke outside or smoke w different people than normal, it kind of re-energizes me. i also agree w the poster that said you have to not feel guilty about your weed smoking or it can drag you down as well. i used weed for a long time to run away from my probs and it wasnt til i realized that they were still there and it was months later that i started to change my pot smoking habits.

like other have said, its a very mental drug and it all depends on you. it may also help to take a look at your eating and exercise habits, you'd be surprised how much a little working out or yoga or whatever and eating a little less fast food per week can raise your mood.
