power off
Sorry I know that this is kinda old, but I am having a similar issue. Kind of.
I have 2 400w lights, the htg's that are switchable, anywho.....
They worked to perfection last year, no problems.
New house, and it's like pulling freakin' teeth to get them to come on right. It's always one or the other, I can't get them both to power on.I have farted around with them now for a couple days, I did get them to power on together 1 time last night, but when I tried it today no go. The second one will come on, but it just gives me the blue line and never fully catches. I am really hoping that I can get this figured out soon!
I have tried the following...
Both in the timer.
One in the timer, one in the wall outlet.
Both in the power strip that is plugged into the timer. (Last night this is what got them both to come on.)
One on the timer, the other in the timer on the power strip.(I don't have room for both timers in the wall obviously..)
Both timers on the power strip in the wall.....er wait, I will have tried that one by the time you are reading this. ( I will try staggering them as suggested above)
So waddya think Miss Stink? Also any really common sense things that I should not be doing with these lights as far as using them toghether? You know so that I don't start a fire and burn down the house sorta stuff. I am also running a jet engine can fan, that I need to have on with the lights. None of this was any problem last time but that was at the old house and is old news I guess. Any advice?
I need to get this figured out so's I can start my dry runs and gauge my temps ect... and see where I am at and where I might need to be but that's kind of a challenge since I can't get the lights on. I am going to try and figure out what else may be drawing on that circuit too and get rid of it, I will use the good old scientific method of guessing, I guess. Please help brotha out!:rastasmoke:
