I've never made any cannabutter with un-burnt buds.

I have a volcano vaporizer and I use the left overs in my cookies

I use half of this cookie mix (shown below)

with about 30g of burnt bud

and they are WAY too strong if you eat a whole one.

Here's also a picture of the burnt buds.

The method I use to extract the THC into the butter is to find ground up buds first. (use a good grinder)

Then get a pot of boiling water with a stick of butter in there (I prefer no sodium butter)

then add buds, let it bubble for a good 15-25 min and then sift and put the liquid into a container into the freezer for a good 30-60 min

go check on it, it should have seperated into two layers, a solid mass and liquid.

The mass on top, you take out and set aside and the liquid on the bottom can be tossed out.

use butter as normal

hope it helped a little.

Making cannabutter for the second time. :DHey guys, I made cannabutter once before (with skunk, 1 oz) with half a cup of butter, left it on a low heat for an hour and the batch of brownies made me like a giggly school girl but it still wasn't a big enough buzz, did I do anything wrong? I've been given 2 oz of skunk today and I thought I'd like to try again, so does anyone have any recommendations of how much butter I should use? I want to put all of it into one batch of brownies, so they will be potent enough. I just get confused Rating: 5
