Also it sounds like you're trying to imply that all people should smoke weed, and that its a bad thing to not smoke.
You say you would give credit to an MMJ patient who doesn't need their meds, but you wouldn't give credit to just a normal smoker that doesn't want to smoke anymore. Why is it such a terrible thing for someone who is not an MMJ patient to quit smoking weed. Whether he is an MMJ patient who doesn't need his meds or just a pothead taking a break, it's his decision to quit, and you shouldn't judge him harshly for doing what he sees fit with his life.

I don't know about you but I would take it offensive if someone that I've never met before said that I was a free baser, while I was trying to talk about a serious issue.

Also, whether or not he is an MMJ patient is absolutely irrelevant to the subject of this thread. He quit smoking, he is no longer a medical or recreational user. It seems to me that the point of this thread is that he is looking for support, and he wants to tell of his own experience, which is just as valid a topic as anything.
