Beneficial Microbes: Companion, Bio-Link Plus, Piranha, Tarantula - what's best?
So I'm trying to measure the merits of stuff like Piranha, Tarantula, Companion, Bio-Link Plus, and stuff like that. I've been growing for awhile, dirt-farming with FF's Happy Frog soil and their nutrients. After this current grow is done I'm going to give hydroponics a shot. The nice thing with Happy Frog is it has those benefical microbes in it. Unfortunately, FF doesn't make anything for hydro that has beneficials in it, so I've got to find other products.
I mainly post on a forum I won't name and the folks there are a bit biased so I'm trying to find a wider range of opinions. I already know what they'll recommend, and I disagree with their reasoning.
Things have been going well for me, so I can afford pretty much whatever I want but I want to consider the price of stuff anyway. I mean there's a difference between having enough cash and being rich, right? If you just spend for the sake of spending you don't have enough money for long. One thing that's got me scratching my head is I've been able to price compare on and Bio-Link Plus, and Piranha and Tarantula,, but I can't find any online stores that are selling Companion. I can't even find a suggested retail price. I'm thinking it's probably the most expensive of the bunch. And if you have suggestions on the best places to buy from that'd help.
I've decided to go with an ebb and flow system so I'm not worried about whether the stuff might clog sprayers. The main concern is just to grow the healthiest roots possible. Like they say, ??As above, so below? - I want bullet-proof plants so I need bullet-proof root balls.
I'm looking for advice from people who've used stuff with beneficial microbes ?? I want something with the power to grow a giant root mass on a billiard ball, but I'll settle for something that can actually happen. Also, does anyone have anything to recommend beyond these (Bio-Link Plus, Piranha, Tarantula, or Companion)? Did I forget anything good?knowboddy Reviewed by knowboddy on . I've always had good experience with Advanced Nutrients. Can't say I've tried the other stuff your asking about.
I think youd be happy with Piranha and Tarantula. Maybe Voodoo Juice too.
