    Run-off

SO i set up my pots with the usual; soil then the inch of stones. I have placed a run off catcher for excess water. Now if water collects in the plate after i give my babies aqua, should i leave it there? i have a strange feeling when i see stagnent water. will leaving the run-off in the catcher cause mildew or bacteria growth? or should i dab up the water using a paper towel/ etc.

    thanks!
