hydroponic system in a fish tank NEED HELP

so my neighbors came over and asked me if i wanted a 44 gal fish tank. Of course i agreed cuz i wanted to sell it on craigslist for about $400. but then i started wondering if i could use it as a hydroponic set up. basically ive been talking to sum friends and so far we have a piece of wood that fits the top of the tank. we are going to cut four or five holes in the top and put net pots securely in the holes. we will buy appropriate rocks fot the pots. the filter is really nice in the tank. we will buy the bubbling system and nutrients for the plants. grown indoors. what problems might i run into with this setup. we r going to grow northern bright which is grown well indoors and a mix of nothern lights and haze. for veg stage we have 1 65 watt and 1 42 watt lights. flowering stage we have 430 watt light. it will be our second attempt at growing marijuana, and first attempt growing this way. any help is greatly appreciated as we are starting the setup today

are you planning on leaving fish in the tank? if so, that is aquaponics. using fish waste to nourish plants living off it. if not using fish, letting light get to the nutrient solution will cause algae to grow. i like the aquaponics idea. i've done it with lettuce a long time ago with good results(high school science experiment). if your interested in aquqponics check this place out:

i've never heard of aquaponics with marijuana, but this has got my mind going. maybe its time to start a new project. ifgoing straight dwc hydro, you can't have too much air in the nutrient solution.IMO. just look at other posts here on set-ups, they'll get you going.
