Notice the price drop from $60 to $39 at GameStop 2 weeks after the release. MGS4 on the other hand...

Haze was judged harshly. its really not that bad

Well I've never played or seen the game, and I don't even have a ps3, but I read the review and it does seem like it was judged rather harshly. It seemed like the biggest problem with the game was the plot, which is a pretty big deal, but a lot of gamers can probably over look that. I think 4.5 is the territory reserved for crappy games based on recent movies and such. This game (and this is a very uneducated guess) should have been at least 6.

Exactly my point. Its a bit repetitive and the graphics are cartoonish but certainly not as bad as people say.
