Etileno inhibitor???
I'm looking for what i think is an etileno inhibitor. i read jorge cervantes in spanish so im not sure if thats what it's called in english. In PGsolutions they called it Stamen-it Stamen-it, but i can't find it anywhere. Basically its a chemical that i polverize female cuttings with so that when there in a 12/12 period they give off male flowers, instead of there normal female flowers. Ive read that this is the technique used to make feminized seeds. I understand the concept but don't know where to find the substance. I have also heard that a mixture can be created, using chemicals that are used to develope photographs. Although it didn't convince me as much as buying a brand specialized for it. Please if anyone has any information that would be great! Thanx

Etileno inhibitor???
i think its gibralter acid or something like that.
if it were me i would try a technique like some talks about, but basically over ripening the plant, and that can bring on a condition to help promote feminized/hermi seeds to grow.
and also imo stay away from feminized/hermi seeds not good genetics to have around

Etileno inhibitor???
Thanx for the information. In response, What ive heard that they do to make feminized seeds is they choose the ones that don't hermaphrodite easily, they stress all the different plants of the same varity trying to find out which ones hermaphrodite easily. The plants that show resistence to there hermphradization are the ones that they use to induce it. If you have a kick ass mother, genetics that are unforgettable, for me it is worth it to able to cross it with itself. Therfore if needed, i can close down the closet and regain the mothers that i would have lost. Also with 13 varities it gets pretty cramped and some i would rather not loose while i look for good combinations and make them... What do u think?? am i wrong in any aspects?
