UGH, HERMIE!!!
Well I opened up my rubbermaid tub yesterday to water my plants and I see balls over one of them!! They're about 4 and 1/2 weeks into flowering. It's from bagseed so maybe it's just genetics that made it hermie. I did let it go for like a day more than it should have without water. I've always been bending the shit out of branches and broke a few and even clipped off a little branch and some leaves. So maybe it was stressed into being a hermie.
Whatever the cause, what should I do? I only have two plants and the other one doesn't have any obvious signs of being a hermie yet although I think I might of seen something on it that looks suspicious. If this hermie pollenates itself and the other I actually wouldn't mind too much because I'd like to have more seeds and supposedly they will be feminized.
What I'm worried about is smoking the buds. The buds have balls all in them, it seems weird to smoke them if they're gonna be full of pollen or whatever.
Is there anything bad about smoking hermie buds? SHould I just let them finish and carry on the same as if it was female?YxXXxY Reviewed by YxXXxY on . UGH, HERMIE!!! You can pick those pesky balls off and reduce amount of seeding. I've done that and get only a few seeds because you will miss some. There is no difference as far as smoking the buds, they are either seeded or not. If you keep those seeds they'll be female with hermie tendencies. But they work in a bind.
