    Nute lock?

    First time grow

    600w hps
    2x2 tray
    20 gal rez
    1 airstone
    Supernatural Veg Nute
    rockwool(presoaked) and hydroton(washed)
    18 on 6 off
ph somewhere between 5 and 6 using drops
    no tds meter
tap water with a normal ph around 7.5ish +

These seedlings look pretty light green to me but they seem to be growing pretty well. Also some of the little tips of the leaves curl down and some curl up kind of awkard looking but no real signs of burn to me. Don't mind the dark green clone.

    Nute lock?

My first geuss would be ph....I'd get a real and true ph meter...especially with hydroton. That being said....I'm not sure how far you're going to get without a tds meter in near future as well.

But I think you're first priority here is getting the ph straight.....and more accurately read than drops can give you.

Why did you say nute Lock? They seem small and have a ways to go- get the TDS cause like WH says Hydrotone changes and get good PH dowm. LOL

No hopefully things stay stable for you nut it is better to be ready

    GOOD LUCK:thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Nute lock?

You're doing just fine. First, if they are groing than you don't have nute lock. Don't worry about seedlings starting out real green. That is normal. You can probably start them on 1/4 strength nutes now.

Don't worry too much about an EC meter. Everyone uses them wrong anyway. Instead, get yourself a digital light meter. I bought one off of Ebay for 30 bucks. Set your seedling for about 500 - 1000 LUX.

Get that going and we'll talk again.
