HPS 600 watt vs 2x250 watt blaThats probably the best deal yo can get for 250 watt hps setup...you could have a more even dispersion of light than one 1000 watt hps for four lights prob like, $500 including upgrades. have em on light movers w the money you save and itd be an even bigger yeild.. and really w the upgrades yo ucan get 270 watt light bulbs...so ud really have 1080 watts instead of 1000. Great find man....great find!

HPS 600 watt vs 2x250 watt blaIf you're shopping for an affordable high output HPS system please check out HTG. You can get a 600watt HPS for a little under 300 when shipping is included. Ill link it for you

 High Tech Garden Supply

youll have to custom out a lil bit but so yeah the 500$ for a 600w HPS sounds a lil beat, is someone middle-manning it or naw? I know Hyrdo farms or whatever are pricey as hell.

HPS 600 watt vs 2x250 watt blaHey All, thought i'd throw my 2 cents in.

I bought 2 400w HPS lights from HTG and it was the best deal of my life.

I bought the first one...i saw on their site a $95 all in one 400w HPS combo...so i bought it...it would have been a piece of garbage had they been in stock. Lucky for me they substituted it for a $200 floralux HPS with an aircooled hood. The ballast was attatched to the hood, but with $15 worth of parts from Lowes i converted it to a remote ballast. It worked so well i called to see if they were still doing the substitution and they were!!! so i got 2 400w hps for a total of $200.

 Now i know they aren't digital ballasts...but still...$200 for 800w...i'm amazed.

Get 'em while their hot!!! (i'd call to see if they are doing the substitution just in case...)
