70 watt hps..
Good call Reap.
You can put all sorts of CFLs in there, including those big square-tipped Flourex type ones that require an external ballast and are great for small grows in the veg stage, or to keep mothers under. But for cloning, you'll want something BLUE and WEAK. An 'Ott Light' which is a special VERY blue CFL, is ideal.
Don't forget to change the socket, ballasts, etc when swapping from flouro to HID- they are NOT interchangeable.stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . 70 watt hps.. I made this light its a hps 70 watt i made reflector and all and i was wondering if it would be good for clones and mother plants and if not should i add cfl to it as well for the right spectrum its like a light amber effect. thanks for any info Rating: 5
