Odor Control
What's an efective way to control odor from 5-10 plants in a 10x8 room? I keep seeing stuff about a carbon scrubber, but what's that? Same thing as a charcoal filter? And would a carbon scrubber require one to duct the air up through the attic? Anybody have a photo of a carbon scrubber in action?

A carbon scrubber uses a charcoal filter, and there is a guide in the grow faqs on how to make one.
I think you need to search a little. It takes time for people to upload photos. There's lots of photos of carbon scrubbers at grow shop websites.

You don't necessarily have to vent to your attic. You can vent anywhere as there will be no odor coming out of a carbon filter. If you use CO2 you can vent back into your room.
