Drug rehab

I don't know about other states, but here if you get caught with some weed you get sent to treatment. I know a few people that have gone.

Has anyone went in there with a bunch of info on how marijuana was safe and actually has more medicinal value then bad side effects? I would have a very hard time just sitting around listening to how weed is bad and how it will screw up my life, when that is completely false. My life is no different now then before I started smoking this wonderful herb. If anything, it has opened my eyes to countless new ways of seeing things and has helped me focus on many things as well. I feel that if I had smoked during school I could have had much better grades because of how much it helps me focus.

I've never been to a rehab but I just wanted to agree on why you smoke weed too.

After I started smoking I was opened up to how beautiful and important life actually is, not that it might ruin my life...bull!

It probably wont make much difference, a lot of those treatment centers are religion-oriented and we all know theres no arguing with religious anti-drug zealots.

It makes me wonder just what goes on in those places, as I've seen rational people who love smoking go away to them and then come back with a deep hatred for all things drug.

Brainwashing, cleansing your soule is what they would call it. There are plenty of for profit rehabs around. If I'm given a choice between rehab, and jail, I'll take rehab.

Then what actually goes on in a for-profit rehab? If you're there by court order then all they do is drug test you and threaten you with jail time if you fail, then that's just brute force and will only work for the duration of the ordered time. How do they intend to have lasting effect?
