Obama - put up or shut up ...

just throwing this out here, but while Obama has made a couple of offhand comments, delicately suggesting he 'doesn't think the Feds should waste money harrassing Med-MJ States', he has done his best to sidestep and ignore the issue, at every turn ... check out Obama's Official Website, you will find his planned 'CHANGES' :wtf: to include everything under the sun, but not surprisingly, doesn't have the guts to put one single word about Medical-MJ issues, anywhere on his website ... typical phony-ass politician ... if he wins, no one will be more amazed than me, if he does a damned thing for America's medical marijuana patients ... promises, promises, promises, bullshit (explanation: when ya get my age, and have watched these phony bastards for many years, you discover they all say anything you want to hear, then piss all over your feet, and tell ya it's raining)

The only candidate that would have the balls to do anything about this would be Ron Paul.

You are absolutely right, put him on the list with Ron Paul, and others whom would just assume take advantage of voters, and be "deceptive" in what their positions are to gain the support of a certain group, i.e. potheads. Paul is the best at it by a long ways. but Barack is good at it too, and this was a point that I tried to make many times, and it is worth mentioning again. Both of these people are doing the same thing, they kind of let you think whatever you want, and they do their best to manipulate what you hear or see about them in such a way that you think that they will be compassionate with cannabis. Think again!

    The Attorney General
    Congress

Those are the only people that could act to remove cannabis from the scheduling for narcotics. If removing cannabis from the schedule ain't the main objective, then I don't really care what you have to say for advocating cannabis use you know whaddamean? In my mind, making it equal to cocaine, meth, heroin, is not anything to be real proud of, and if anything it is a cheap political ploy to really cement that pot-head support. If you are perfectly happy with cannabis being classified in such a way then by all means more power to you.
The federal decrim bill for small amounts is another thing though. That would actually be a good thing. But I am not holding my hit.
Sorry reaper, kind of went on there, but yeah I have noticed that too about him. However you have to keep in mind that right now it's all about the "true believers" not the general population. "True Believers" will not even entertain the notion that Obama could even be questioned! He is going to be destroyed in the general election, and then even if he happens to some how with an act of god pull something out of his ass, (only thing that comes to mind is McCain getting killed in some freak accident) Hillary and Bill, they would just fucking kill him. Really, why do you think that he doesn't really look comfortable with the notion of Hillary being VP, think about it! That's like him just kneeling down and resting his neck in the guillotine while Billary is holding the string! YEEEE!
To be honest I feel bad for him. So I guess you could say I am doing him (and me) a favor by not voting for his socialist pig ass.

Whom would he appoint as AG? Is that person specifically on the record saying that they would support removing cannabis from the sched of narcotics, and lump it in with the ATF for regulation?

Show me where on HIS SITE that it says he would work to appoint an AG or demand Congress remove cannabis from the sched of narcotics. I can save you some time. It doesn't. And don't give me the "he respects state's bs cop out line".
Oh great, so let me get this straight, for at best, 8 years while Wrong Paul is president, you will be fine. Then after that, what? What do you think would happen? I know. You do to. So does he. But that's not the point, the point is, he does not value cannabis any more or less than anyone else that is running, promise. And he is about as useful as a fart in a tornado. It really does make me angry that he gives the impression of being sincerely compassionate, but in reality my friend, he is not. He is very, very, careful with the words he chooses, just like Obama, and others. The problem I see now, is that there are sooo many people that believe Ron Paul wants to legalize pot, that if you suggest that may not be the case, potheads everywhere froth at the mouth, like you fucked there mother or something! For fucks sake people c'mon now. Someones siggie says that people that use cannabis are LESS SUCEPTIBLE to propoganda, not any less than anyone else, I don't believe cannabis is a factor in that equation. Just look at all the people that have bought in to Paul and Obama, people that use cannabis that is. They are all just as glassy eyed as the "true believers" that don't use.

There is sooo much on this topic already here, I don't want to do a whole new thread, but really just look. All sides (this argument has 3) are well represented and there is alot of info. It's a good topic though, really scrutinizing what exactly politicians "do" and "say".

I love it, 'hashy night with purple light', ... in all seriousness, I gotta say, I have NEVER been so disgusted with a choice of 'candidates' in my life ... I can NOT vote for any of those bastards ... I 'possibly' may vote straight Democratic, to protect my Social Security 'Welfare Check', Medicare, and Medical MJ, but write-in myself for President :wtf: (hey, I got at least 2 votes, when I ran against Schwarzenegger for Governor ) ... joking aside, it is a disgusting picture of American politics, to see this 'Presidential' candidate field we have today ... Thomas Jefferson was right, when he said the American Govt. could only last a maximum of 200 years, before it would have to be overthrown by armed force (and, THAT, is why the 2nd Amendment protects our guns, it wasn't for 'squirrel-hunting', folks) ... :smokin:

I have been saying that for years image!!! I dont think our goverment will last much longer...its already overdue..Look at ANY govt in history....we are on 230 yrs...how long were did the roman empire last?
I too am disgusted at our "candidates" for president. I started a thread a while back that died, but why cant we get willie nelson and hank jr in office, lol....
our country is going to hell, its not gonna get any better, I dont even see us getting cannabis to shedule 2...thats all we really need, but it wont happen as long as politicans are making their pockets fat with "the war on drugs"....
just my stoner rant....or as 818 said...."hashy night, with purple light"....lol
