CALLING ALL FLORIDIAN DOG TRAINER HEADS

    Specifically......Stealth.

So here is our Power Plant....still having pretty good issues with the k def frying up leaves at the rate of about 3-4 leaves a day.
We've made up our mind we are going to get to the bottom of it and figure out exactly what the problem is.

First: The plant looks fine on the upper leaves and buds (for NOW)

Stealth I'm CONVINCED the roots are the problem here and perhaps even something along the line of disease. Did you ever treat the soil itself with your problem plants?

So we've decided to start with ANOTHER good flush and this time add H202 and remove the Cannazym from the equation. We'll see if this makes a difference which would make us lean strongly toward a disease process in the roots and/or medium.

In this case we took RO water at approx 70 F and added 2ml/gal of H202 (35%), corrected ph to 6 and flushed down through the plant into an empty five gallon bucket.

Once done the roots look much improved and the bucket is now full of excess fert crud.

The problem is we've been doing this all along with this plant and it hasn't helped yet. The only difference this time is that we are changing the cannazym to peroxide and if we see an improvement we'll keep the peroxide on board until the end and ditch the zyme product.

Edit: Another thing the makes us suspect disease......this plant has been flushed more times than any other plant we've ever had and yet we STILL get a pretty good amount of crud out of the medium each time we do. Makes us wonder where all that is coming from.....hmmmm?

The plant appears to have a droopy "overwatered" look. This is pretty normal for us when we flush a plant and should be completely gone by the next day. We'll grab a photo tomorrow and compare.

And so here are some photos.

The plant looks significantly improved....further confirming our suspected diagnosis. :wtf:

In fact this is the best this plant has ever looked. I had considered H202 in past flushes but avoided it since I was trying out the 8 inch net pots and both other plants are doing well on cannazym. I think I'll strongly consider changing to a zyme type product that can be used in conjunction with H202 in the future.

Basically we had to change out 10-12 gallons of good nute solution and remake the entire thing with H202 and no cannazym which we have done.

We will update in a day or so.

edit....and hopefully get the photos right in the next post.....:stoned:

PS....We're also consdering taking a few clones since the cloner is in use (6 kids left.....) since we're pretty sure at this point that although the plant IS a shorter pheno......that's isn't why its growing slowly.

    LOL...I love that title!!!

no photos in the post? i never treated the soil...but just like you said, after eleventeen flushes, the water was still fert crud...hmmm...i have no idea, disease is sounding more plausible though, and i NEVER got a plant to bounce back after starting the spots, to yellow crumbly leaves...we need to figure this out...seriously...

    :wtf:

Stealth the thing is I'm not really sure exactly what you would treat the soil with .....but I'm sure Stinky or rhizome or someone would know.

And while waiting for the photos to upload AGAIN Mr Hound and I came to the conclusion that possibly our bottle of Cannazym is too old.....it's at LEAST six months old so before we diss C-zym we'll buy a new bottle and try it because despite rootbound issues in the past we've never really had DISEASE problems until the last month or so.

And further complicating things.....it appears the photos WONT upload and not at all sure why......if I can get it to work I will....otherwise just imagine that the plant looks better LOL!!
