what's done is done - test
so, i went today. it was at a doctor's office. i waited for a half hour before i went to the reception area and asked if i was in the right place. they were all apologetic, and figured i was a patient. it was me and another guy there for the piss test.
took me to the back, had me rinse my hands with water, put my purse on a hook outside the bathroom.
did not ask to empty pockets or anything
shown the bathroom. closed and locked the door. no blue water in toilet, just a sign stating do not flush, do not run water or test will be invalid.
peed in cup, took it out to the nurse who was hell and gone from the bathroom.
i could have subbed, i could have started WWIII in there, and no one would have known - but, i did it on my own, mainly because i had no idea what i was walking into.
i had consistently tested negative on home tests (at least 7), and in fact, tested negative twice today before the test - i tested myself 1 hour before i pissed for the real deal, and was solid negative.
the only thing that worries me is whether i was too dilute (hard to judge from the color, given B2).
i only had 40 oz of liquid for the 3.5 hours before the test, so i hope my SG and creatine are OK.
the hour before the real test, my adulterant strip showed creatine on the low end of normal, and the SG was too low. hopefully, i was less dilute after the hour wait to piss again.
the nurse told me i should have my results by friday at the latest, and if it is neg. dil., i will have a retest. i hope it is just a retest and not a gc/ms follow up.
i'll keep you posted. i also plan on hanging around. i learned so much, if i can help others, i will. :hippy:SensiGirl Reviewed by SensiGirl on . what's done is done - test so, i went today. it was at a doctor's office. i waited for a half hour before i went to the reception area and asked if i was in the right place. they were all apologetic, and figured i was a patient. it was me and another guy there for the piss test. took me to the back, had me rinse my hands with water, put my purse on a hook outside the bathroom. did not ask to empty pockets or anything shown the bathroom. closed and locked the door. no blue water in toilet, just a sign Rating: 5

yes, drank only gatorade today, and ate ramen noodles, and ate tums - tried to LOOOOOAAAADDD up on sodium.
even resorted to a swig full of salt water (nasty) an hour before the test. no idea if that did anything.

Im kind of baffled as to why your specific gravity wasn't at a higher level. Aside from that you were very thorough with your dilution process so I cant imagine you not passing. Anyway... I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted on your results.

could have been the strips i was using - could have been that the time i tested, it was more dilute. i tested myself earlier in the day at the SG looked perfect. it was, of course, the strip i ran an hour before my real test that looked too low.
my understanding is that SG and creatine both have to come back too low for a negative dilute. so, hopefully i have the creatine in the bag
as i said, i think that maybe with sitting for an hour between voids, it would not have been dilute. we'll see
i really do not want to blow this - and, i had only one session, 20 days ago, after being clean for 60. i have to imagine i was good to go anyway. passing on the first void of the day.
oh, and the salt water was after i saw that the SG was too low

It sounds like you did everything right so you should be good. And know you get to see too why subbing is a good option. Easy to do,less stress and you don't have to change your smoking habits.

yes, it would have been a hell of a lot easier.
the only thing that is going to fuck me is the SG and creatine
someone on another forum said a dilute negative is a non negative and will go to gc/ms (how can a NEGATIVE dilute be a non NEGATIVE?)
i don't think that's correct - everything i have seen says you either retest, the employer accepts it, or they reject it.
anyone here have opinions. that would be my only concern, a gc/ms. a retest would just be a pain in the ass.
