getting card based on previous prescription, recommendations?
Well no one else will say it so I will.
You can get a rec if your feet hurt because your shoes are too tight.
Fact of the matter is, the legal protection that the mmj laws in California offer you in my opinion justifies ANYONE for any reason getting a rec, legit or not. Where as the issue is not the ailment, it is the legal penalties for possesing and using it. I believe that the penalties justify anyone getting a rec for any reason, and that's really the way the law was written. Vague as hell on purpose. That is also the problem with the current laws aside from the federal conflict. Cannabis does have a tremendous medical value I think, and anyone that wants to should be able to use it. I also it agree it can have a subtle overall positive impact on anyone that happens to be perfectly healthy, and uses it as well. Those people should not be punished. MMJ laws DO NOT generally acknowledge these people, and these people likely make up a huge overwhelming majority of the total number that use cannabis in the U.S..
If it is legal for EVERYONE then all the MEDICAL USERS WOULD HAVE ACCESS, and likely much cheaper medicine. This is why I question cannabis activism to the exclusion of everyone except for "MMJ Users". That position is obviously not going to produce a good long term solution to the problem of people getting safe access to and using marijuana that use it for serious medical problems. Full legalization does though. So until that happens,
go get your rec. Like I said, if you have a wallet, with cash, a valid state id, you are qualified to obtain a MMJ Rec with more doctors than you can count. Those are the 2 most important factors, not your medical condition.
Now I am sure that I will get flamed and you won't.
