Legal Donations and other questions of Legality (long post)

Ok, I have some leagle issue questions for those in California. I have a general understanding that with the proper forms and documents, I'm allowed a certain amount of plants and a certain amount of dry med mj.. both for personal use in my home behind closed doors. My question is this, how do you legally offer excess amounts of Med Mj to Co-Ops for a donation.. or other Med Card patients if you have a excess amount on hand, (and I only want to be well within my allowed amount).. what kind of protection with-in the leagle guidelines are there.. or are there none ??.. Can you only offer up/donate certain amounts (weight) or whats the deal ?? I have tried to look this up , and I'm either looking in the wrong places, not asking the right questions in the right manner or it's pretty cut and dry ... distribution is distribution, and nothing can protect you ...or do CoOps grown their own Meds and no need for you to offer any excess meds in the first place ?? I hear about "vendors".. are their leagle steps to becoming a vendor or are vendors operating on the outside of the leagle cuff ??.... I'd really LOVE for someone in the know to iron this mess out or point me in the right direction of those that do know. Seems for every Co-Ops starting up.. one gets closed down ?..If they are in fact leagle to operate, then whats with closing them down ?, and whats with these delivery companies ?.. whats the difference between YOU going to get meds from a Co-Op , and having someone BRING the meds to you ?. How much meds can one delivery guy deliver in a day and to how many patients are they allowed to deliver to in a day ? I can ask on and on but if you read this far then God Bless you, I really just want to have my facts and figures in a row is all.

ok i get my rec then i go down to my county health dept and they give me a nifty card that says do not arrest and do not confiscate and has your limits its generally 6 mature plants- 8oz.dry buds on my person but my buddy has a grow card he got in oaklAnd for 120 plants and like 10 pounds

but the way its done is its still a federal crime to do this and some local police dept work with the dea but were sending a law in front of legislation to change that and punish state and local employees for aiding the dea in breaking california law so until then you just need to find ur connect and dont tell anyone u grow that much and keep ur paper work on hand just in case and to be successful in cali u need to be GOOD AT GROWING no pretendo just kind endo.

coops are a situation where a group of patients grow thier personal at someones house and he doesnt really get paid like a dispensary like 6 of us get together and all grow our plants at jims house now jim has 36 plants legally cause hes growing mine too but jim can only charge for cost to grow, not profit

there are steps u can take to legally have a dispensary or sell and pay buisness taxes and sales tax (even though its a prescription) and in oakland its legal to smoke if ur over 21 but with all that crack thats getting smoked who cares about weed

delivary services are nice and safer from a federal view cause nobody goes there and its not known where it comes from like a store. and b4 the vendor delivers he usually receives a confirmation that the person hes delivering to has a prescription which lowers the chance he sells to a rat, but that damn dea and thier spending of tax dollars to keep more tax dollars from coming in. on stuff thats already been voted in.

so basically the rules are all the same just the laws now have loopholes and are more leiniant

and as far as not being able to find anything there is nothing to be found yet. its a new game and all the rules are not in place

MPP Homepage is a good place to start

Hey listen, I thank you for taking the time out to clarify that. I was thinking dispensary and typing Co-Op, but you touched on that as well, and again I thank you. So, to be "coverd" by law (state) whatever county your in, grow/use what is allowed at home.. anything other then that is at your own risk ?.. correct ?

i cant answer that parole question it is always better to wait till your parole is through it would suck to have a fed parole officer haul u away for just checkin on u and then say your in violation of federal law, again.

pretty much, but 6 plants come on really that wont supply me for 2 months theyre crazy, but yeah stay within limits and u shouldnt have any problems and there are ways of increasing your limits also.

being arrested is up to the officer, some do some dont whether you go to court on it is the DA's choice on the evidence presented if your ducks are straight three days in county jail till ur told no files will be charged federal parole officer ur violated. alot of the police dont even have an outline of whats allowed and what is not if you ask them. and the sheriff here wont reply to the request to talk.

Cool... so can the average joe buy ganja legally? I remember seeing something about this in super high me, but it was kind of vague.
