Actually, I think it makes sense. If you don't believe in God, then you don't believe in Hell either, so when you die you can't go somewhere you don't believe in Just because that's what it says in the Bible doesn't mean it's true. The way I see it, 'Heaven' and 'Hell' are metaphors for your state of mind when you die. If you die filled with regret, shame, anger, etc, then you will 'go to Hell', you won't be able to rest in peace. If you die with a clean conscience, content with your life, at peace with yourself, and even though you did some bad stuff (everybody does, sometimes...) you're able to look in the mirror and forgive yourself, then you are in 'Heaven'. Heaven and Hell are a state of mind
