OK, here's my wiring shown in picture. I hear the buzz coming from ballast and starter but still there's no light. I tested my bulb without reflector and it works well... This is strange, please help me on this.
daylight Reviewed by daylight on . HPS setup and 3pin cable wiring My HID reflector has E40 socket with 3 pin power plug (same as PC power out). I tried to wire the N pin to neutral, E pin left unwired and L pin wired to starter. Everything else is wired exactly the same as shown in the picture. I may not explain this very well so in this case for better understanding just replace the bulb in second picture with 3pin plug. However this didn't work. I tried connecting without 3pin plug with just simple 2 wires directly to E40 socket and it worked. So the Rating: 5
