Question about Home Test
Hello I used a First Check Home Test from CVS.
When I examine my sample, I held it to the light bulb in my bedroom and under a fluorescent light in my hallway. Both times the line was fairly faint but definitely there under the light. Not so much away from it. This is an idiotic question but doctors would definitely hold it under a light and their environment is bright? Meaning if I've now been clean 25 days and the line is faint I really don't have much to worry about it if my test is not for another 2 weeks? Thanks in advance.shawncdot2 Reviewed by shawncdot2 on . Question about Home Test
Is the doctor giving you an instant test?
If it can be photocopied or photographed, it's a line.
The half-life of THC is 0.8 days to 10 days. In a worst case scenario, 14 days would be about 1.4 half lifes. I hope you understand half lifes because I don't have time to explain that right now. If not ask or do a little search on it.

Question about Home Test
FBR,
Do you suggest dilution after 40 days clean?

Question about Home Test
it depends. you don't want to over dilute and get a dilute negative.
did you test your self on the first void of the day? if your line was faint on the first void, that means you are below the 50ng c/o using your most concentrated urine. using a full dilution may not be necessary, and unless you follow it to a t, you could end up with a dilute negative.
if you tested on your first void, try another home test closer to test time, say, 5 days before, after drinking 20 oz of gatorade 1.5 hours before you test. drink no more than 40 oz in the 3 hours before the test. then test yourself, and see where you are. if you get a nice line, follow the same regimine before the real deal
48 hours before the real test, load up on the red meat and creatine supplements. The day of the test, have some salty foods, ramen noodles, mcdonald's fries, whatever, to make sure your SG and creatine look good.
if you want to, you can get strips that test SG and creatine, so that you know that if you are passing with 20 oz of gatorade, your SG and creatine are good too. you have plenty of time to order more test strips from ebay and some adulterant strips.
practice does make perfect

Question about Home Test
It was not my first void, however I was not exactly hydrated during the day. I drank about 2 8 oz red bulls and 2 12 oz waters during the day after a long drive. Then at 10:30 pm I drank a bottle of 1L poland spring and took test at 11:20. My urine was still yellow so I think I was not diluted.
Can somebody recommend me a mild dilution regiment after 40 days. As SensiGirl mentioned I do not want to over dillute. Chances are I'll probably be clean then but I want to be safe than sorry.

20 oz of gatorade 1.5 hours before the test, no more than 40 oz in the 3 hours before the test.
that is enough to make sure you are not over dilute, but not concentrated.

Question about Home Test
What about all the things mentioned in the dilution thread such as asprin, B vitamins, creatine, etc. Is it possible to take them in a milder dosage or will it not matter if I am not drinking as much liquid as the thread suggests?
I'm at the point of stress where I am about to say F my real urine and use QF, but I'm still worried about somehow screwing that up as well.

Question about Home Test
You wont hurt anything by taking the recommended dosage of creatine, B2, and aspirin. Just cut down your fluid intake like SensiGirl said and you should be fine. If subbing is an option i would highly recommend it. Its pretty hard to screw it up if you practice with it before your UA.

Question about Home Test
Diego,
But should I still cut back on the fluid intake that drastically (20 oz vs the amount in the dilution sticky)?
My biggest concern with subbing is not getting caught but screwing up the temperature. From what I read in the forums this is usually the main concern with everybody. What can you say to that to alleviate it?
Sorry for all these question that may seem redundant I just want to make sure I do this right.
Also, the test I'll be taking will be a standard pre-emp UA from either Labcorp or Quest with the 50 cutoff levels.
