ehh I wouldn't go that far as to say he was the worst. He just landed himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. America was already about to face a recession even before his presidency and regardless of who the president was going to be at the time it would have been inevitable. He was just SOL when he came in so everyone just put the blame on him. But you're right he wasn't that well suited for presidency because essentially he didn't handle that hostage situation like a president should. I bet he would be a great friend and maybe even a senator but would definitely not make a good president.
