This is something i never imagined
so, after smoking up today, i was flipping through the satellite radio, and for some reason i stopped on a jazz channel, on a whim if you would. And i realized that jazz music is rather crazy sounding to the ears, it is excellent, pleasing, yet unrelinting.
the rat-tats of cymbals, and the sharp bass notes, mingle with the smooth piano, its a ride all on its own.
anyone here into jazz tell me where to look for some great stuff to listen too.jimmy8778 Reviewed by jimmy8778 on . hey ATrain, that's crazy you mentioned that parker tune kim, after i made that post i was gonna put the youtube link to kim up there, but then i left the house in a hurry and didn't, anyway, here it is...just audio...
YouTube - Charlie Parker "Kim"
i love playing that tune, the charlie parker omnibook is fricken awesome if you're into playing, most of the solos are all written out, you can learn a ton about bebop just thumbing through the damn thing.
