Doesn't matter how long they have been in the pots... I usually start mine in 5 inch peat pots, then when they are around 15 - 16 inches tall, I transplant into 5 gallon buckets, and when they get about 3 feet tall, I put them in the ground. I have 2 sensimillia plants that are in the ground that are 5 feet tall and have been flowering for a month(they were flowering when they were transplanted and it didnt hurt them a bit), and an Arjans Ultra Haze #1 that is almost ready to go in the ground, and a Afghani Hindu Kush plant that will be ready to go in the ground probably about the 4th of July.
Mississippi Steve Reviewed by Mississippi Steve on . Pot Size Question.. I know someone with 1 month old plants in 1 gallon pots. This person plans on budding in the 3.5 gallon pots. Is it ok to go ahead and transplant to the 3.5 gallons now? Or does this person want to wait until it's closer to budding time before he uses the 3.5 gallon? Rating: 5
