    High,

I, dill, am an old adpc lurker. Since 1997 or so, can't remember precisely. Seemed like everyone was working on overgrow at the time. Sad thing about overgrow and how it scattered so many.

Anyway, I moved to Colorado to vote for the med mj initiative just at the turn of the century and stayed to enjoy the freedom of being protected by law as a registered med mj patient.

Not so any more. I was forced to move to a very ignorant state due to my husband's health. Growing here is way too dangerous but I will eventually be doing just that I guess. It's just something that I've been doing since 1985.

Though I've followed advice from many, foremost was an articulate poster who then went by the name of ratchet. Another was called pH and he wrote my favorite grow theory bible called "Cycles of Suffering."

I wonder if these sage advisors are still around and maybe on this board so they could see this and contact me in a private message. Hey. I'm an optomist.

Anyhow I'm going into lurk mode here to get caught up on methods and such. I'll probably post now and again if any question arises that makes me I feel that I might be able to add anything useful to the discussion.

    Good to be aboard.

    sincerely

    for the welcome Bozo.

Read your thread and gaped at great pix. Boards give waaaay more info these days with the advent of digiphoto. It's a beautiful thing, cuts down on those thousand words necessary.

I'll be watching your garden unfold. Thanks for the opportunity to do so.

    Bozo,

Yeah. The miracles of modern photography. I am just a little afraid to post pics tho. I can just imagine how leos would be oh too interested with Probable Cause shown in living color. I was blown away at how overgrow came down. Do you feel safe posting pics and solid grow info?

Anyway, I got inspired and found a great 1000w switchable ballast with a drop dead gorgeous reflective hood and Swedish fan. I know what to do with it but still intimidated by local leo possibilities. The state in which I am currently forced to reside is just rabid about anything to do with this stuff. The state actually decriminalized mj earlier this year. The local leos said they didn't care what the law says, they would bust and arrest anyhow. Sad sad thing when law enforcement is allowed to choose whatever law they care to enforce.

So I'll just watch your grow for now and enjoy it while I decide how the hell I can do this HERE. I will happily post when I have something to contribute.

    Thanks again for the welcome.

what tips the scale for me is, first, this is the safest place for me to network with others about growing. and i like talking about it, LOL.
second, i don't think leo would be particularly interested in a guy like me, i'm too small time (not doing this as a commercial enterprise, just to feed my head). if they ever have another reason to look at me, then these could come back to bite my behind.
third and maybe most important, i think posting text leaves as many electronic footprints as posting pics and although they wouldn't have the impact that pictures would, projecting your words on a wall in the courtroom would have plenty of impact.
i live in RI and we recently had a law passed to allow MMJ but i'm not legal yet so i do worry but, like i said, i'm doing this on a VERY small scale.
anyway, glad to have you here

    peace, love, dope

I too remember those days. I would like to find out if "Tom Hill" posts here. Talk about some monster outdoor plants. There was another fellow that was kind with his Blue Moonshine seeds and I was lucky enough to get some great plants from them, but his name escapes me.

I have also moved to a place of tolerance and I am working on getting legal so I can enjoy the freedom.

Good Luck to you and be safe!
