Can plants tell night from day?
In the UK electricity is cheaper between 1800 hours and 0600 so I have always set my lights to come on at 1500 hours and go out at 0900 during the grow and then 1800 to 0600 for flowering.
The plants don't know any different.
I also get free telephone calls between the same hours so if I want to make a long call to a mate that's when I do it.
