I AM BACK FOR QUICK VINDICATION!!!!!!!!
I frequent another forum from Brazil in portuguese (Growroom.net) , but I am back for a this one post... (if I'm commiting any infractions by posting that other forum please edit it, thx)
NOVA | First Flower | PBS
Whoever has the chance should watch this somehow... around the end... they go on to say that genetically there's a new classification,
but from the transcript itself;
NOVA | Transcripts | First Flower | PBS
NARRATOR: Now with the assurance of DNA insight, the family tree of living flowering plants has largely been written.
The old family tree was now in for a major pruning. Roses were found to be closely related to squash, strawberries to marijuana, this meat-eating pitcher plant to China's famous rhododendrons.
For centuries water lilies were thought to be nearly twins with the lotusā??no longer.
PS... I know stinkyattic doesn't frequent here as much these days (like me), but I learned alot from her, and I'm sure someone could pass on that info to her....
Peace out homies...
