A friend of mine whose opinion I trust says he always uses a reverse osmosis water purifier. But when I went to the hydro store the woman who helped said that I really don't need one because the water in my area is real good. I let her discourage me from buying one. Now, one week into my grow, I'm having second thoughts. I'm fairly new to growing but still very picky. I want very much to optimize the quality as well as the yield. I would really appreciate any input on how important purifiers are. My tap water is 40 ppm. I have 16 Hindu Skunk plants in a 4x4 flood table with 1000w hps/mh. I will run CO2 when I start flowering.

P.S. Has anyone grown Hindu Skunk? (Hindu Kush x Skunk #1) Any comments or advice here would also be much appreciated. I was thinking of doing a SCROG grow. Thanks :jointsmile:
