Can I use a WET SAW water pump?

would a water pump designed for tile wet saws work for plants? it has never been used, im just wondering if it would cause the ph to rise from metal parts because its not designed for organic use.

its a no name that was bought at home depot. on the pump itself it calls itself a fountain pump. it has no gph rating or brand name, its just called "universal water pump pp-399"
