Is there any supporting evidence for this, its not that I don't trust your judgment, its that the sunlight wavelengths that the plant absorbs are not diffracted or refracted to cause a variation from the 12/12 scale... It would almost seem like the window is exactly the same as having it outside...... it gets the true 12 hrs of sunlight, so I wouldn't see why it is a problem. I also have a fan in the room circulating the air... So that is not a problem.
Anything else that I am doing wrong or I should fix????

how big is this window? which way does it face? where is your general location? is this a window that will see every bit of sun from sunrise to sunset?

mj needs direct sunlight atleast 5-6 hours everyday, morning sun is better.

from my experience with people trying a windowsill grow is the plant will only get about 2 hours of glass filtered light then indirect indoor light which is pretty much useless. not to mention the dark hours, will the room with the window sill be completely dark for 2 months?

keeko.. you say the plant "needs" 5-6 hours a day some days here are not sunny so the plants will go the odd day without sunlight and it is only about 4 -5 inches tall.. can i bring it in on the non sunny days and put it under an energy saver light ? do i need a cabnet or closed space to put them in or can i just put the pot on the floor and put a light over it ? any help on what to do will be greatly apreciated because i dont have a clue what to do..

i never advise bringing an outdoor plant inside....too many pest problems. but if you have too i would spray the outside plant with no problems

just re-reading what i wrote last night, ignore the "but if you have to part...."

cloud coverage is ok, in my opinion better than taking it back inside.......kinda like how you can still get sun burned when its cloudy...the plant should be fine.

My window gets approx 10-12 hrs of direct sunlight per day, so that is most def not the problem, and it started out as an indoor plant. The only thing that I am wondering is that one person said that plants in windows will never produce buds.... wtf does that come from, I have never read that anywhere.???
