sorry to be a dick but if what your growing doesn't finish with a feety parmesean cheese smell then its not cheese, its probably skunk#1 which is what the original uk cheese cutting is from.
I go to clinic in LA that sells " uks finest cheese" and if you had a pothead any pothead that has never seen cheese before and had them close their eyes and you said smell this... What do you think it is? Not 1 person would say bud!
It in no way has a classic cannabis smell, it smells like straight up cheese!
Greenhouse seeds, big budda seeds, ( both ate same strain) and homegrown fantaseeds all have the "cheese" and while you can get very cheesey phenotypes that do smell like cheese from what I've heard the majority of the phenotypes are more just skunk #1 or kush which is what big budda used in the cross to make seeds and then he sent the strain to GH to feminize them.
I'm growing the GH version and I have 10 plants in veg but the stem on 1 of them already smells cheesey so I've got high hopes.
but if your bud is good bud thats all that matters.

    THE CHEESE!!

I'm interested in growing a variety of Cheese myself. I was curious how difficult of a plant this is to grow. (I'm a complete n00b) Just looking to do a few plants in a stealthy cabinet (250w HPS with carbon filter).

yes very easy, the uk cheese is basically a skunk#1 phenotype, the big buddha cheese, and greenhouse cheese are both the uk cheese pollenated by an afghani father.
skunks are basically some of the easiest strains for beginners to start with.

Thank you, very pleased to hear that.

I am to take it that this is a particularly stinky strain? I will have carbon filtering but I want to be prepared, of course. (rather not have the neighbours smelling my 'cheese')

as long as your carbon filter is matched to the power of your extractor, it will cope with all smells without a problem.
