Are you using a dome or cover that may create too much humidity? I think rapid rooters are great. Usually when everything is totally purple it is an indication of too high humidity. You see it a lot in the areo fog systems. The rooter's are normally sitting in 1/4 inch of water on my rig and with the dome on the seed house the humidity is goofy high so I remove the cover twice daily to get fresh air. Good Luck!!
PlantHeadJ Reviewed by PlantHeadJ on . Rapid plugs - mold, I think ok so I have a quick question that can hopefully be answered quickly hehe... I had about 30 seeds in rapid rooter plugs 20 of them shot up instantly and are doing great outside. 10 of them were really slow and about 7 came out of it, two of them were straight purple the leaves the stem and everything, they died a couple days later. The remaining 5 - 2 are doing great, and 3 are small and have not grown in a whole week. They just sit there with their main leaves green and their lower round Rating: 5
