I emailed herbalaire directyl and asked about using a higher flow pump. This is there response.

Hi,

We have been experimenting with selling a larger pump for session use. It will likely be sold as an accessory. The herbalAire is able to handle to the larger air flow without sacrificing the temperature control. The faster airflow does have a slight impact on the concentration of the vapor coming from the unit.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The herbalaire comes with a 1L per minute pump. The pump herbalaire is "experimenting" now with is a 10L per minute pump and a connection to fill two bags at once. But what I want to do is upgrade the pump to a 2L per minute pump. I think that will be a nice combo, the pumps are only $10-$15 and are silent. I think one dense vapor bag is better than two half as dense bags. And I don't think the slightly more air flow of the 2 LPM will after the vapor density too much.
