recommendation question
Do all physicians require a Ca driver's license or ID? I am a contract worker now living in Ca, but dont want to wait to obtain an ID (DMV site says up to 60 days). I have a lease agreement for my apartment, but that's about it.

recommendation question
California DMV and the CHP require you to obtain a CA license etc., within 60 days, maximum, OR immediately after being employed (employment makes you an 'instant official Californian', whether you like it or not) :wtf: ... and, the CHP DO enforce that law, collecting revenues is what makes them horny :wtf: ... I used to get pulled over every time they saw my IL license plates, trying to get me to admit I was working here, just so they could start taxing me properly :wtf: ... I only mention this, in case you are holding out on switching licenses, they are likely to catch you, anyway ... :smokin:

It should take no more than 2 weeks to get your Driver's License/ID in the mail.
