In our immediate and extended family our use is commonly known (with those younger than 50).. We've chosen to be honest with the teenagers in regard to both use and growing. My daughter has started calling me "Bill Nye, The Illegal Science Guy!" in reference to my botanical experiments. As far as my mother (and the older family members) we're taking the path of respect and just don't talk about it, though if asked I'd be honest. Funny how taboo some folks still think weed is but never think of excessive drinking being in the same vein.. This same group also doesn't seem to mind stories of Willie Nelson (75 last week!!) rolling down the road in his tour bus and a cloud of smoke!! So in their mind, it's not so bad unless it's someone close to them.

I'd love to hear how some of the others with older kids (> 14) handle communications on the subject..

Farmer Rich Reviewed by Farmer Rich on . Who in your family knows you smoke? So far only my sister and one of my older cousins know. My sister because I tell her everything and my cousin because she smokes too. Once I'm in college I'm going to tell my mom and tell her it's really not all that bad for you and see how that goes. But anyway how about you guys? Who knows and why? Rating: 5
