Deer Repellent: Morganite lawn food, avail at Home Dep. It's made from waste treatment sludge and smells like a septic leechfield. Scatter it around and the deer will stay away, it's long lasting.
I also use it to keep them from browsing my hosta.

I plan on adding soil to the spots i dug out.When i went back to check my holes i noticed deer scat. I have a few questions. 1: should i abandon my area because of the scat? 2:What can i put to keep deer away(a fence of any type isnt an option)? 3: when and what do i use for slugs? 4:When and what do i use for spider mites etc.?
