This is nonsensical, and I couldn't find the picture they mention.

Doesn't this writer, or his/her audience, realize that Manhattan, especially the financial district, is one of the most expensive housing areas in the country, if not the world? I've known wealthy people who work on Wall Street that wouldn't even consider living in the City, much less the financial district, due to the cost.

If you choose to live there, and can't afford to feed your "family of four", it's your own fault.
