HELP ME WITH COOL TUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
all cooltubes are is a aircooled light, most any hid lighting should have aircooled lights in enclosed areas
go to the place you bought your setup and they should have the cooltube, duct piping, and exhaust fans. while you are at it, it would be smart to also hook up a carbon filter for added security.

HELP ME WITH COOL TUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are you're temps like when your lights are on? Measure the temp where the top of the plants will be. If your temps are in the 75-80F range you don't need a cooltube but if your temps are 85-95F you need a cooltube.

This is the only place it should be used since it drastically increases drag (decreases air flow). Whenever possible be sure to use the smooth, actual ducting material available at home depot and hardware stores. It comes in 4 foot lengths and you can cut it with a hack saw or reciprocating saw. Also be sure to keep bends or elbows to a minimum since they too increase drag. A filter on the intake will increase the life of the fan, but will require a slightly bigger fan.
If at all possible be sure to overbuild in the ventilation department, so you don't have to tear apart your wall and start over like I did. There are formulas on the web to figure out exactly what you need for what you want, but I think most people just wing it. If interested search HVAC.
