cannabis Beer brew ... need a bit of advice

    Hey all.
Ive got an IPA beer kit Im going to brew up tonight. I all so have a few male plants Ive been needing to get rid of

DO you think it would work to boil those boys up and add the water to the brew, adding the 'tea' to the water portion of the recipie.

Im not expecting much ( if any) thc in the brew, these are pretty small plants. Just to get some flavor in there...I wonder if this would taste horrible ?

    Any ideas on this ?

I think there's a fair chance it will taste horrible, but faint heart ne'er won fair maid. TRY IT!

I've never brewed beer, but a friend of mine is a much-decorated home-brewer, & a couple of years ago I asked him about flavoring beer with bud. He told me that he'd talked with people who'd done it. It took a lot - I think he mentioned a quarter pound of bud - & he heard that the beer was very very strong. Not to mention expensive. Totally hearsay, but... fwiw

Another way to approach it would be - dry the males & see what sort of hash oil or green dragon you could get out of it, then put that in the finished beer (if hash oil, dissolve it in some ethanol, then put it in.

...But I'm going to have to take this thread down shortly since we don't encourage discussion of 'other drugs', including ethanol.

But did you know that the common beer-hop is the closest living relative to our beloved plant? They are the only members of the family Cannabacea.

Here's a bit of reading for the moment at least...
Hop (plant - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Cannabaceae - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
