Harvesting early leads to a loss in potency, unless you're close to your harvest window anyway. If trichome production has slowed down, but most of them are clear, you'll get more of a speedy head high. Wait longer, when the trichs are mostly cloudy/a little amber, and you'll get a more narcotic, "couch lock" effect. Wait until 40% or more of the trichs are amber, and you've waited too long, and the THC is actually beginning to degrade and should be harvested soon. You'll still get a nice sedative effect, but you don't want to let them degrade too much, or you'll start taking away from all the hard work you put into them.
So, no, I wouldn't harvest early unless you absolutely had to. Guess I could have just said that all along!

On my first grow I was overly eger to do my Harvesting but the high is more like a good morrning high like still get stoned for 2 hours but i want to go do stuff. I have been smoking it before i walk my dog or if the wife wants to go shopping stuff where i still need to know whats going on. I was looking for a high to play video games and this high is not the best for it.
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Yea, harvest early is more so taking away from Potency then helping it. As someone that has harvested at the optimal time and someone who has harvested early [like now, becuz have too] its much better to wait. Im assuming you have a microscope and know to look at the Trichomes [theres a chart on the forums somewhere that shows you what to look for at the different stages, search Trichome Chart]. But yea i had to harvest early this season and im more of a fan of couch lock/body high so id say let em go til they start to turn amber:thumbsup:

well i asked this because something... and is that i dont know what to do cause my leaves are giving up...
i think i didnt put the enought nitrogen and i cant add any fert at this point i am at about 7th week of flowering... so i am only waiting and watching whats going on... but if i let the plant like this , it will be ending with just buds and no leaves, and i ll get less quantity (grams).
The buds are really perfect and i dont want my fert lack in the meantime to get them, thats it

Well are your leaves turning yellow cuz then it could be a lack of nitrogen in which case i dunno what to tell u if you are flushing your plants now and dont wana use fert. Maybe dilute some of your pee [and when i say dilute i mean REALLY DILUTE it in water] the ratio of nitrogen in pee can be really high so diluting is very important but thats just if you decide you wana add some nitrogen...throw some pictures up so we can see exactly whats goin on
