Sammer, i have similar beliefs in this area... here are a couple things to think about...

1. Are thoughts really non-physical objects? Science truly does not know "what thought is," there are only theories. One theory holds that thoughts/memories/etc are "stored" in the actually electrical charges of the mind. I'm not qualified/capable to explain it but I had professor with a PhD in neuroscience describe it to me before. The point is that would make our minds like radios and our thoughts like radio waves (per se), all very much so real in the physical dimensions of the world, though invisible to the eye. We could not see the thoughts if we cut a mind open the same as you cannot see "the people talking inside of your radio" if you break it open.

2. Be careful in your logic which I'll quote here from your original post:

"Our physical bodies are bound to this 3-Dimensional universe."

We do not live in a 3D (3 dimensional) universe. We at least know there are 4 dimensions we are bound to: height, length, width, and time. Try to have your body defy that 4th dimension of time!

String Theory is a popular physics theory that describes the existence of our reality has having more like 11 dimensions, with only 3 being visible to the naked eye, leaving up to 8 that we just plain cannot see, but are absolutely bound to it through its interwoven connection in the fabric of existence, the dimensions of reality.

Thoughts very well may not exist in a visible dimension or even a "physical" dimension but that does not mean that the dimension they exist in is separate from the dimension of our brain tissue and brain waves in any actual way.
