meh a good chunk of it speaks the truth but I really disagree with the fact that American's are becoming more stupid. Trust me a hoodlum in the ghetto's is significantly smarter than someone who grew up in 1776. The reason why we think they were smarter is because most of the information that is retained from this time period is from those who held high positions such as John Adams or George Washington. Guess what they were the exceptional people who were educated through their wealth. Most people growing up back then were complete idiots compared to the stupidest person in America today. Also I really disagree with the notion that he claims the government is intentionally trying to keep people from becoming smarter just to retain they're power. Ok maybe the few people like Bush would want that but most politicians know from History that it is education that makes a nation state much stronger. It allows for new and more innovative ideas to be made. The primary incentive of politicians is to gain wealth and to gain wealth a nation must increase in power and to increase in power one contributing aspect is an increase in education. Obviously if the government intended to supress education then we wouldn't see the many grants available to college students. Also I think it's incredibly stupid to put faith in any politician and THAT INCLUDES RON PAUL. I mean yes he speaks the truth....does this mean he's gonna be honest if he ever became president? Hell no. George Bush spoke the truth before he was elected and look where he brought us? It's so stupid to put so much faith in any politician because when it comes down to it they all just want money and power. The idea isn't to look for a politician who will act like a saint but rather a politician who will do whatever it is that is in his best interest that will benefit us as well.
