Local organic compost vs. Fox Farms
The other day I was bringing some trash to the local dump/refuse center, and I noticed that they sell bags of organic compost for $2 a bag, and I think the more you buy, the price goes down kinda thing.
So I'm wondering, should I buy the organic compost and support my local economy or should I go with say for instance Fox Farms Ocean Forest?Backpacker420 Reviewed by Backpacker420 on . local compost is goin to have a more diverse microherd and be all around better for the plants. the ocean forest is soil with castings and nutes, they are essencially different parts. it would be good to use both together for a happier plant. you can use just compost but it is better to use a more diverse medium.
