I wanted info on the medical cannabis up in ontario canada before i change me whole life to be close what makes my pain more bearable i am 26 and have arthritis in both wrist to the point i am popping the best pain they sell in the usa.. they help but i am a zombie and they well not operate on them untell i am at least 35 somethings about age bracket??? at 23 went to a party tried cannabis.. pain was there but not a big deal any way smoked for 6 months no troubles then my buddy/dealer got caught went to jail for 3.5 years. cried for weeks so i went back to pain meds that cost more 3 to 4 times as much as i paid for cannabis and does not work half as well... have not had cannabis in over 2 years" passed a drug test for a new job even" i am not a druggy or user as the world would like to think i do not even drink... but what else can i do? so i heard about medical cannabis up in canada is federal so that means " i think" that with a cannabis medical card i could stop i could feeling like a second class person and live me life so much better and not worry about going to jail for growing or smoking

OK, you have legit medical problems and likely can get your records to prove it. Which means you are a "shoo in" for California's liberal medical laws! :thumbsup:

Getting legal in Canada is no picnic! Go over to treating yourself, a Canadian medical site, and read the posts about "Hellth Canada" and Cannabis! The stuff the government sells you (at an obscene mark up!) SUCKS! No variety, poor quality schwag grown in a mine (I wonder about pollutants and mold).

Then there's actually getting legal. Doctors are STRONGLY discouraged against prescribing cannabis. Finding one who will give you an OK- even in a big city- is near impossible! And the paperwork is a real drag- always getting "lost", delayed, or otherwise, mislaid and the cops "somehow" know when your paperwork has expired.

Hellth Canada is considering banning personal growing, too. They don't like the competition of home-grown against their schwag!

Canada is far from a "pot smoker's paradise"!

Gimme California! You walk in with the money, a legit medical problem and the medical records to prove it. You get your exam, pay your money and walk out legal to grow 6 mature plants and possess 8 ounces of pot! At the equivalent of about $20 a month, a recommendation is a bargain!
