On a couple of the forums I'm a member of, there's an entertaining passtime we do, sort of a game.

On one forum, the idea is to quote a line of dialog from a movie. The other members try to guess what movie, what character said it, etc. This thread's been going on for over a year, has nearly 2000 posts (1986 at last count) and has been viewed over 25,000 times. They seem to like it

On another forum, I got the idea we could do something like that, only with song lyrics. It's been pretty popular also, about 500 responses so far, and over 3000 views.

So, heres the deal. Somebody quotes a line or two from a song, and other members try to guess what song and who did it. Whoever guesses correctly gets to submit their song lyric, and whoever figures that one out takes over and puts down their lines, and we all try to figure it out, etc.

Knowing I'm outclassed, I thought I'd start with an easy one, and then step aside. Here it is:

There must be some kind of way out of here,
Said the joker to the thief.
There's too much confusion,
I can't get no relief.
