Am I going crazy?
OK, I dont actually think I'm going crazy I'm just concerned about how much/long MJ affects my brain.
I know that RIGHT after I smoke my brain is affected and I start thinking differently, I'm more insightful etc. Here's my concern(s): How long is my brain affected by MJ? Am I thinking normally the next day after toking? Or am I still thinking as if I'm high?...Am I PERMA-HIGH!!? AH! !!
The reason I think this is because sometimes, before the first toke of the day, I feel like I'm thinking normally. Then 5 seconds later after smoking a bong I can feel the body high but I feel like I'm not thinking any differently. Which pisses me off because thats one of the big reasons I LOVE to get high.
I would love to hear the science behind weed affecting your brain and the whole process of how it works...
However any insight on any of this would be greatly appreciated.

Each strain affects you differently, there's weed that will stick you in one place for the duration of the high, then there's the weed that buzz's your mind.
Sativa does one of these, Indica does the other...although im not sure which does which.
Our minds are expanding when we smoke, I try filling the new mind space with some new knowledge, filling it with negatives like "im going crazy" is no good.
Perhaps a break is in store?
Then dr.dubbie suggests a good tokage session, in a really interesting environment.
As for the science part...well somebody else can help you there.

Sativa has more THC and gives you racing thoughts and euphoria, while Indica has more CBD than a Sativa and gives more of a relaxing body buzz feeling
I think you like THC better, like me.

I love that feeling after a night of toking the next day(Sativa, its normally all i smoke). When I wake up I feel as if Im in a brand new world and I am living a wonderful life. Im not so much high but I think different and everything looks somewhat surreal. I think this is what pretty much happens to everyone. Though it does seem to stop for people who smoke all the time. What a wonderful feeling. Enjoy it!

I know of that which you speak.
My interpretation of events (with interest in neuroscience) is that your brain adapts to having constant stimulation from smoking and so the effects linger because your brain has slightly altered itself to compensate for the change in neurochemistry, insofar that your thoughts are physically laid down within your brain, so enough of a certain kind of pattern (if you will) starts to cement that pattern. This is the same variability that allows for brainwashing, etc, and even more basically for personalities to take shape.
Flip the world upside down with goggles and you'll be riding a bike and catching balls within a week or two (although at first it is completely disorienting and you become instantly deficient at most any physical task).
Our brains are wonderfully adaptive organs.\"That\'s the only way you can solve the problem, with a paradox, man.\"

Am I going crazy?
I woke up this morning and couldn't even open my eyes I was so tired. But I had such a good feeling. Then I stayed in bed with my eyes closed for 2 hours before I hopped onto these forums.

sometimes my mind feels hazey, but nothing extraordinary or even anything that phases me.
I rarely even notice it unless I'm looking for it.
Perhaps I smoke too much.. heh :hippy:

I don't know, but recently all marijuana does is decrease some of my anxiety and blesses some peace and calmness. Sometime ago though, after smoking lots and lots of Afghani Indica Hash I did feel a little burnt out. Marijuana blues I guess..??
