Positive test @ home- how worried should i be?
Hi there- hope someone can lend their expertise. I'm a 26 yr old female, 5'4", 205lbs. I was a regular smoker for the past year or so, but have decreased to smoking on weekends only in the last few weeks.
I have a employment urine test as early as 5/5, though it could be any time after (I know this employer hasn't made it a first-day priority in the past).
I last smoked on 4/25-4/27, and approximately smoked 1 blunt, a couple joints, and a couple of bowls, of ok quality.
Since then, I've been chugging water like it's my job, have been eating primarily salads, no drinking alcohol or any other substances, and not much exercise. I just took a home test and am positive.
With the test 4 days away, I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to keep drinking water, and I also have 3 drink cleansers on hand. Has anyone tried the powdered urine- it sounds like it would work, but I don't know of anyone's that used it. I also have read to be lazy for the few days before the test and eat high-calorie crap food.
HELP! any suggestions, advice, etc is greatly appreciated. And, I'll save you the trouble of typing it- I know that it wasn't a good idea to smoke last weekend. Foolish, but I'm trying to manage the consequences as best I can, thanks!MrsWilson Reviewed by MrsWilson on . Positive test @ home- how worried should i be? Ditch the detox drinks they will not help you pass. Dilution will not work for you at this point and drinking tons of water wont either. Your best bet is to pick up some Quick Fix synthetic urine from a local headshop or order over the internet. I know you don't have much time but I think it could be overnighted. I wouldn't fool with the powdered urine... Its too much of a hassle and QF is premixed and ready to use. All of us here swear by it and it will never fail if you get your temperature right. For more information read the Substitution sticky at the top of the forum.

Update- I think I may use a real urine specimen from my friend whose clean, similar to the way quick fix is used. any info on doing this? i'm going to keep the vial in my bra (i've got some DD's to keep it warm), so it should be close to body temp. any words of wisdom for trying this route?

You can use a human sample as long as you use it within 8 hours. I wouldn't even risk holding it that long unless you plan on freezing it. You will also need a baby thermometer to check your temperature, remember it must be between 90-100 degrees. I would try to keep it between 96-99 to avoid suspicion. You will also need to provide at least 2oz so make sure you have enough.

You'll also need to know if this person is absolutely clean. That also means no prescriptions.
