This has already been happening out here for a long time. Ever since the laws were passed, starting from the first stage of local government. There are a couple of reasons that LA county has the lions share of clinics as compared to like Riverside County. What's funny is that niether of the measures passed by overwhelming majority as activst would have everyone believe. It was hardly overwhelming, barely a majority is more like it. And now, all the other people that were opposed are doing what they are entitled to do, participate in their local city government and on and on up. They are not doing anything wrong, usually. It's just that most people out here really are ignorant as fuck, just my opinion as someone that has come to live here from a land very far away.
Don't get me wrong, it's not good, but what do you do? I think I will go hunting for some actual facts on voter turnouts ect...
I also completely disagree with voter referendum, it is not the way our government should be. It actually goes against what our founders envisioned and is destructive to our society. But I don't want to get into that here, this thread is safe though! No one else will read it except you P4B HA haha. Our current situation here is proof in the pudding that it does not work!:thumbsup:
